Astana-Beijing 2024 Road Show held in Beijing

On October 18, Astana-Beijing 2024 Road Show was held in Beijing. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China and the Astana Development Center with Visit Astana tour brand. The program included a road show and B2B meetings, which became key elements for discussing the prospects of cooperation and promotion of Kazakhstan tourism in the Chinese market.

The opening ceremony began with welcoming words from Shalkarbayev Askar Erlanovich, the Minister-Counselor of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China. The guests of honor were Xiao Nan, deputy director of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China; Zhang Yanbo, deputy head of the Eurasia Division of the Department of International Exchanges and Cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China.

Representatives from Kazakhstani tour operators, travel agencies and hotel businessalso attended the event. The event contributedin strengthening cooperation and establishing new business ties between representatives of the tourism markets of Kazakhstan and China.

Within the framework of the road show, 7 agreements on cooperation between the tourism businesses of Kazakhstan and China were signed.
