The Yixinou freight train runs between Madrid and China's small commodity hub of Yiwu in eastern Zhejiang Province.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become an important transportation channel.
The train made 737 trips in the first six months of the year, with its container volume surged by 149 percent year on year.
