China's direct investment in B&R countries surpasses US$74 billion from 2015 to 2019

In 2019, Chinese enterprises engaged in US$15.04 billion of non-financial direct investment in 56 partner countries involved with the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Data released by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China indicates that Chinese businesses have made a total of US$74.33 billion of non-financial direct investment in Belt and Road countries over the past five years.
