China's new architectural wonder: a 46,000-tonne bridge rotates successfully

This aerial photo taken on July 29, 2019 shows two parts of a bridge above the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway before they are successfully rotated to their targeted positions using the swivel construction method in Baoding, north China's Hebei Province. China has adopted the swivel construction method in building many bridges to minimize the interference on the traffic below. The method helps overcome the constraints of environment and traffic, while shortening the construction period. (Xinhua/Mu Yu)
