Sri Lanka is an important partner for the Belt and Road Initiative. The year 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Sri Lanka. During an exclusive interview with the Sri Lankan ambassador to China, Mr. Karunasena Kodituwakku talked about the opportunities brought by the Belt and Road to Sri Lanka's economic and social development, and the cooperation between China and Sri Lanka.
