Ministry of Commerce releases foreign investment statistics

Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the Chinese mainland reached 752.41 billion yuan ($107.28 billion) in the first 10 months of 2019, up 6.6 percent year-on-year, the Ministry of Commerce said Monday.
A total of 33,407 new foreign-funded enterprises were established between January and October, according to the ministry's data.
In October alone, FDI climbed 7.4 percent year-on-year to 69.2 billion yuan, the data showed.
